Normal is abnormal, uncommon in India: Ministers, moneyed people behaving normally is seen as exceptional

When a union minister walks on the street, sits at a road side shops, talks and shakes hand with citizens, it is nor normal.

In this class-obsessed society where powerful--they may be public representatives or public servants, behave as masters.

Hence, when someone acts with civility and like a common man, this is seen as rare and almost a noble act.

Can we fault the newspaper for going overboard? In a way, one can't fault anyone, perhaps. That's how our society, all of us are.
